Mock Caldecott Award Program - Events

Cafe Zoë is excited to be joining the amazing Reading Specialist at Oak Knoll School, Ms. Cebrian in her annual Mock Caldecott Award Program. The Caldecott Medal is awarded every year to the artist of the most distinguished American picture book for children. Mrs. Cebrian has picked 14 books that were published last year that have a good chance of winning the Caldecott Medal for 2023.

Join us at Cafe Zoë for a chance to choose who we think will win. The 14 books are at the Cafe ready for you to judge. Join us any day or on the next two Thursday evenings (1/12 and 1/19) from 5-7pm to review the books and place your votes.

All of these beautiful books are on sale at Kepler's, our local small business bookstore.
